Things That I've Learned So Far

As I keep having strange dreams, I've realized a lot of things about myself.
~I don't think I've learned my true identity yet, and so I feel lost, at home, and at other places (school XO). That would explain why I feel like I don't fit in.
~Growing up is HARD. As if getting ready to enter senior year wasn't enough, I also have to write two essays for school and a resume, as well as get ready to be editor of the school newspaper. You know, when I was younger (this is totally lame)I always thought that when I grew up I'd be really popular, have a boyfriend, and be totally happy. Hmmm....
~I'm too young for love. So many times this summer I've thought "Why don't I have a boyfriend?" because of other people exclaiming how wonderful their girlfriends/boyfriends are, sometimes I feel like I need to have someone to be happy. Turns out I'm just lonely and looking for something to do.
~And last, but not least, I need to be myself. As the band Oasis says "You can't be no one else" and as I'm starting to learn who "me" is I realize that if my friends truly appreciate me, they will love me no matter how strange I dress or what kind of music I listen to.

wise words coming from a little thing like you, maybe you're more "adult" than what you think.
of course you need someone to feel strong in your life, not necessarily a boyfriend, but I hope that what you will find =) don't escape from life, I think this is the only way to don't give up to loneliness

I...uh, well, it took me a bit to come up with a good response to this. I'm pretty much your age, and I'm not bothering with a boyfriend at the moment. Then, I've also had some mental issues lately, which may or ay not be related to the fact that I've been a loner for years.

I think Fade's and my ideology differ somewhat in that Fade tends toward wanting others company (And perhaps she's right...after all she's my senior by far), wheras I'm more introverted and often go it alone.

Whatever way you turn, know that yours is the right path for you, otherwise there is a price to be paid. I'm already starting to pay mine...

I'm pretty much a loner myself, I have a few friends but at the moment they don't want anything to do with me. But that's okay; sometimes it is better to go at it alone and friends will come eventually.

I have friends who really like me and often get bored, so they like to hang out wih me lots. But sometimes I'm all like "lemme alone, mon! Gah! I wanna like, watch random videos and crap!". I usually hang out with them anyways though. So, I suffer not from lack of friends, but just my own anti-social tendancies. Everyone needs alone time, y'know....

Above all, do what you like best. Odds are, you'll soon find someone with your interests. And possibly various other crazy people who just think you're cool. ^^; Either way, it's all good. :D
