The glow of the city lights
Casts a shadow on me
The beauty and the radiance
Becomes swallowed by the sea
My wings flutter gently in the wind
My heart beating swift
I'm closer to my dream, I can see it running from me
In anticipation I make a daring leap
And fall out of the sky
I hear my heart shatter,
And I let out an earthshattering scream
For I had failed
In chasing after my dream.
